Jasey Samois, M.A.
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
You may be feeling disconnected—from yourself, your partner(s), or the relationships you want to build. Perhaps you're caught in painful patterns that keep repeating, struggling to navigate trauma, exploring your identity, or trying to create fulfilling relationships while balancing the complexities of non-monogamy, gender identity, or major life transitions.
You may be exhausted from trying to figure it all out on your own and longing for a space where you don't have to explain, defend, or minimize who you are. You deserve a therapist who will meet you with curiosity, affirmation, and compassion—exactly as you are.
Jasey provides an affirming, collaborative space where every part of you is welcome. Together, you'll explore the experiences, protective patterns, and relationship dynamics that have shaped your life while developing new ways of connecting with yourself and the people you care about.
Using Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care, Jasey helps clients move beyond simply managing symptoms to healing the underlying patterns that keep them feeling stuck.
The goal isn't to become someone different—it's to help you reconnect with the person you've always been beneath the pain, self-protection, and old relationship patterns. Through therapy, you can cultivate greater self-understanding, experience more secure and fulfilling relationships, and create a life that feels more authentic, connected, and aligned with your values.
Jasey is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and a graduate of Antioch University Los Angeles, where they earned their Master's degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Psychotherapy. Over the past two years, they have worked across several diverse clinical settings centered on LGBTQIA+ affirmative care, intersectional awareness, and trauma-informed practice. Their experience includes work with non-profits serving survivors of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and sexual assault, where they provided individual, couples, and group therapy. They have also offered on-set consultation and therapeutic support for creative professionals working in television, theater, voice over, and film. Their core clinical focus areas include GSRD (gender, sexuality, relationships, and diversity), co-transition support for transgender and non-binary individuals and their partners, self-esteem and positive psychology, sex therapy, trauma and grief, psychoeducation, nonviolent communication, and psycholinguistics..
What to expect when working with me
You don't have to choose between being fully yourself and having deeply connected relationships. Together, we'll work toward creating both.
Working with Jasey is a collaborative, affirming experience grounded in curiosity, compassion, and authenticity. Whether you're navigating relationship challenges, healing from trauma, exploring your identity, or working through life's transitions, Jasey creates a space where every part of you is welcome.
Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, therapy is an opportunity to understand the deeper patterns that shape how you relate to yourself and others. Together, you'll explore these patterns with compassion, strengthen your emotional awareness, and develop practical tools to create healthier relationships and a life that feels more aligned with your values.
Jasey integrates Internal Family Systems, (IFS)-informed therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, attachment-based interventions, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care to tailor treatment to your unique needs. Therapy is always collaborative, culturally responsive, and centered on honoring your lived experience.

More Than Just My Work:
1. "Trauma represents the tyranny of the past. The whole point is to liberate
ourselves." — Peter Levine
2. I'm a former theatre kid at heart, and that connection to the expressive arts never
really left me — even though I no longer share the spotlight, I stay rooted in
movement, storytelling, and creative expression, and I bring that same vibrance
into the therapeutic space.
3. Animals are one of my other great passions — I used to teach afterschool animal
conservation programs for elementary, middle, and high school students,
bringing creatures like snakes, chinchillas, tree frogs, and macaws into the
classroom to spark curiosity and inspire connection with the natural world.
